Georgia Tech lands transfer commitment from former UGA TE, per report

Georgia Tech is adding a transfer tight end for the 2023 season, landing a commitment from former Georgia TE Brett Seither on Monday.

A 6-foot-5 TE out of Clearwater, Florida, Seither joined the Bulldogs during the 2019 recruiting class as a 3-star prospect. He was mainly a special teams contributor in Athens but saw some action as a reserve tight end.

Seither has 4 catches for 54 yards and a touchdown during his career at Georgia. He appeared in 25 g

ames as a tight end for the Bulldogs from 2019-22.

The move by Seither will reunite him with Buster Faulkner who is taking over as OC for Georgia Tech in 2023. Faulkner was previously an analyst for the Bulldogs but will be the OC on Brent Key’s first full-time coaching staff for the Yellow Jackets.
