Jordan Boyd, elite linebacker out of South Carolina, announces ACC commitment

Jordan Boyd, a 3-star linebacker out of Aiken, South Carolina (Silver Bluff), has announced a commitment to play in the ACC.

Boyd, a 6-foot-3 and 220-pounder, is ranked the No. 10 player in South Carolina, and the No. 45 linebacker in the country in the Class of 2024, according to the 247Sports Composite. He committed to Georgia Tech. He has a reported 12 offers, and was recruited to Georgia Tech by Marco Coleman and Andrew Thacker.

He chose the Jackets over Missouri, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest among his offer list. Boyd visited Wake Forest after his January visit to Tech, 247Sports reported.

Boyd is the fourth commit and the first defensive recruit in the 2024 class for Georgia Tech.
