Miles Kelly made big strides with a strong jump in his second season at Georgia Tech. As a result, he declared for the 2023 NBA Draft and underwent the pre-draft process while maintaining his college eligibility.

On Wednesday, Kelly announced his final decision with the deadline for early entrants to withdraw quickly closing. After leading the Yellow Jackets in scoring a season ago, Kelly announced he will return for another year in Atlanta.

Last season, Kelly appeared in all 33 games (27 starts) and was a true leader for Georgia Tech. He led the team in scoring (14.4) and minutes per game (32.4) while shooting 41% from the floor and 38% from 3-point range. Kelly also averaged 3.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists.

Already, new head coach Damon Stoudamire has tried to re-make the roster of the Yellow Jackets with key pieces via the transfer portal. Keeping Kelly is also a big win and gives Stoudamire a piece to work with and build around for his first season in the program.
