ESPN's FPI predicts outcome in Louisville-Cincinnati bowl game
Louisville is set to face off against Cincinnati in the Fenway Bowl on Saturday afternoon.
According to ESPN’s Football Power Index, the Cardinals are slight favorites. FPI is giving Louisville a 55.4% chance to win the game.
There should be no shortage of motivation for either team in this game. The Bearcats hired away Louisville coach Scott Satterfield earlier this offseason, creating a bit of an awkward situation between the two teams. Cincinnati’s previous coach, Luke Fickell, left to take the Wisconsin job.
Louisville will be without its top player from the last several years in quarterback Malik Cunningham. However, backup quarterback Brock Domann has played frequently this season.
Domann has completed 53.7% of his passes this season for 866 yards, 3 touchdowns and 5 interceptions.
Louisville is looking to clinch its first 8-win season since 2019.
Kickoff is at 3:00 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon.
