Kenny Payne, Louisville hoops HC, conveys disappointment in lack of fight on Senior Night

Kenny Payne, Louisville’s head coach, had some interesting comments following the Cardinals’ brutal loss to Virginia Tech Tuesday night.

Payne insisted that the team had numerous players that “did not come out to play” against the Hokies in their last home game of the season.

The Cardinals have a had a weird season, easily their worst since at least the 1940s. The Cardinals are u

nlikely to win 5 games this year and have simply laid down for their opponents at times. Now, it seems Payne is hinting at a major overhaul heading into next year.

The Cardinals’ last game of the season is set for Saturday against Virginia.
