Louisville’s 2023 recruiting class is bordering on elite status after picking another blue-chip commitment on Tuesday night.

The Cardinals earned a commitment from 4-star receiver William Fowles.

Here’s his announcement:

Fowles is the No. 356 overall player and the No. 46 receiver in the country for the class of 2023, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 65 player from the state of Florida.

In addition to being a highly-ranked prospect, Fowles is an impressive pickup for the Cardinals because of who they were going against. Fowles visited both Miami and Florida State in June — and he’s from the Miami area. He attends Dade Christian School in Hialeah, Fla.

Louisville’s 2023 class is now up to 13 commitments. The group ranks No. 18 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. It’s also ranked third amongst ACC programs, trailing only Clemson and Miami.

Fowles is the third player from Florida to join Louisville’s recruiting class. He’s now alongside 3-star cornerback Rayquan Adkins and 3-star offensive lineman Jordan Church.
