Louisville adds veteran DE transfer from Georgia State

Louisville has made another addition via the transfer portal. Veteran Georgia State DE Jeffery Clark is the latest player to commit to play for Jeff Brohm’s program.

Clark shared the big news on his Twitter page.

Clark signed with Georgia State as part of the program’s 2019 recruiting class but did not begin playing until 2020, a season which does not count against his eligibility. Over 3 seasons, Clark has played in 33 games.

Clark’s 9 career sacks rank top 10 in Georgia State program history. He also has 19.5 tackles for loss in 3 seasons.

Last season, Clark led the team with 9.5 tackles for loss and was second with 4.5 sacks. He had 39 total tackles on the season, playing in 12 games.
