Louisville picked up a commitment from a JUCO guard on Thursday morning.
According to On3’s Joe Tipton, Koron Davis has committed to the Cardinals. He’s averaging 25.3 points per game for Los Angeles Southwest.
This is a big-time commitment for Kenny Payne and his staff for the 2023-24 season. The Cardinals have struggled to generate offense this season, but Davis could be a solution to that problem.
Listed at 6-foot-7, Davis has proven himself as an efficient scorer and effective distributor at t
he JUCO level.
Davis is the third player to commit to Louisville in the class of 2023. He joins 4-star forwards Kaleb Glenn and Curtis Williams Jr. The group ranks No. 35 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
The Cardinals are in the midst of a disaster season. They’re 2-18 overall and currently winless in ACC play.
