Louisville freshman small forward Devin Ree announced Sunday that he would be entering the NCAA Transfer Portal on Monday, March 13 after just a year in the program.
Ree, who was the No. 85 overall prospect in the Class of 2022 and was the Cardinals’ 2nd highest-rated prospect in the class.
He made his announcement via his personal Twitter account Sunday evening.
You can probably bet a small fortune on this not being the only offseason d
eparture for Louisville. The Cardinals are trying to move on from their worst season in program history, one that saw Kenny Payne’s squad win just 4 games. That’s unacceptable at a program like Louisville.
Ree did not see the floor much in 2023-23. He attempted just 17 shots from the field in 16 appearances.
