Louisville is finalizing a deal with Purdue head coach Jeff Brohm, according to a report.
That’s per ESPN’s Chris Low, who notes that Brohm’s contract is expected to be worth approximately $35 million over six years.
Brohm would replace Scott Satterfield, who left for Cincinnati after a four-year stint with the Cardinals.
Brohm has long been rumored to be a candidate for Louisville. He played quarterback for the Cardinals from 1989-93. He led the Cardinals to a 9-win season and a Liberty Bowl victory in 1993.

isen up the ranks. He’s been at Purdue since 2017 and has led the Boilermakers to a 36-34 overall record. This season, Purdue won the Big Ten West title for the first time.
Prior to being at Purdue, Brohm led Western Kentucky to a 30-10 record over three seasons. The Hilltoppers won 10+ games in back-to-back seasons, which led to Brohm getting the Purdue job.
