One of the top recruits in the country is set to visit the 305 this weekend.
Booker Pickett Jr., a 4-star EDGE defender from Tampa, Fla., will be on campus with the Hurricanes Saturday for their matchup against UNC. Pickett is one of the top names looking at Miami for the 2024 class.
An explosive defender coming off the edge, Pickett already has an offer from the Hurricanes. Other offers on the table
include Michigan, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, Ohio State, and several others.
Pickett has not announced as of this t
ime when he will officially declare.
The addition of Pickett would only enhance Mario Cristobal’s 2nd recruiting class with Miami. Currently, the Hurricanes rank 18th on 247Sports’ recruiting class with 2 hard commits. Antione Jackson, a 4-star safety prospect from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., was the first big name to commit to The U this offseason.
