4-star quarterback prospect Jaden Rashada is still considering Miami with his commitment date looming.

Rashada is scheduled to announce his college decision on June 18. On Saturday, he spoke with Sports Illustrated about Miami’s chances of earning his commitment.

“Yeah, they’re still in it for me,” Rashada said, via AllHurricanes. “[Considering] my relationship with the coaches and the players, I could see myself living there.”

Rashada is the No. 7 quarterback in the country for the class of 2023, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 45 player nationally and is on the cusp of being a 5-star prospect.

In his interview with Sports Illustrated, Rashada also teased the possibility of visiting Coral Cables one more time before his commitment date. He also visited Miami back in March.

“We’ll see, I’m working on that right now,” Rashada said.

Rashada attends Pittsburg High School in Pittsburg, California. He also has offers from programs like Florida, LSU and Texas A&M, amongst others.

Miami’s 2023 recruiting class is off to a good start. The Hurricanes have commitments from 5 commitments already in this cycle, with more expected later this summer.
