5-star EDGE Samuel M’Pemba will be visiting Miami this weekend, he announced on Friday afternoon.
M’Pemba says he will be attending Miami’s cookout on Saturday.
M’Pemba is one of the top prospects in the entire country for the class of 2023. He’s ranked as the No. 25 overall player and the No. 2 EDGE prospect, per 247Sports Composite rankings

The IMG Academy product is also being recruited by some of the top programs in the country. He’s visited Notre Dame, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida since the spring. He also took a trip to Coral Gables back in March.
He’s a key target for Miami, who is hoping to build the No. 1 recruiting class in the country
. The Canes currently have 16 commitments and the No. 9 overall class, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
Miami already has commitments from one 5-star prospect in offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa. At least 3 other Miami commitments (Jayden Wayne, Jaden Rashada and Malik Bryant) could reach 5-star status by the end of this cycle.
