Inniss is a local prospect and would be a massive pickup for the Hurricanes. He attends American Heritage High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
He’s the No. 1 receiver and the No. 9 overall player in the class of 2023, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 3 player from the state of Florida.
Inniss also has offers from programs like Alabama, Ohio State and USC. He was previously committed to Oklahoma.
Miami has ramped up recruiting efforts since hiring Mario Cristobal after last season. Cristobal rescued the Canes’ 2022 class and is off to a strong start in 2023. Miami already had four commitments in this class, which currently ranks No. 19 nationally and No. 3 in the ACC per 247Sports Composite rankings.
Miami’s spring game is on April 16.
