Virginia Tech is set to host Miami in a matchup that could have ACC Coastal implications down the line.

Both teams will be trying to snap 3-game losing streaks in Blacksburg on Saturday night. However, the Canes only have 1 ACC loss so far this season and could get back into the mix if they can get on a hot streak.

Leading up to this game ACC Network analysts Kelly Gramlich and Eric Mac Lain made picks against the spread. Gramlich is going with the Hokies while Mac Lain believes in Miami. The Canes are favored by 7 points.

It’s the only ACC game this week where the duo disagreed on their picks:

Miami fell 27-24 at home to North Carolina last week, but the Canes played much better than they did the game before against Middle Tennessee. Miami picked off Drake Maye twice and quarterback Tyler Van Dyke threw for 497 yards.

Virginia Tech has struggled in recent weeks. The Hokies’ defense has given up 40+ points in back-to-back games. If Virginia Tech is going to make it to a bowl game in Year 1 under Brent Pry, they will have to get back on track soon.

Kickoff is at 12:30 p.m. ET.
