Miami cornerback Isaiah Dunson will be moving on.

Dunson announced his intentions to enter the transfer portal on Saturday afternoon. He just wrapped up his third season with the Hurricanes.

Here’s his announcement:

While Dunson spent three years with the Canes, he never played a major role in Miami’s defense. He made 14 total tackles and one pass deflection across three seasons with the Hurricanes.

Even as Miami struggled with inconsistency and injury issues at cornerback this season, Dunson wasn’t able to crack the rotation. He played in six games this season, mostly on special teams, and recorded three total tackles.

Dunson is the 10th Miami player to announce his intentions to enter the transfer portal. However, none of the players who have announced so far were expected to play major roles within the team next season.

Dunson is originally from Tucker, Georgia. He was a 4-star prospect in the class of 2020, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

The transfer portal officially opens on Monday, Dec. 5.
