Miami may be an underdog in Vegas, but ESPN’s Football Power Index is backing the Hurricanes to pull off the upset.
According to FPI, Miami has a 53.6% chance of beating the Aggies on Saturday night. Texas A&M is coming off a home loss to App State in Week 2.
Miami enters this game with a 2-0 record on the season. The Hurricanes beat Southern Miss 30-7 at home last weekend.
Miami’s defense has been excellent so far through 2 weeks. That unit is allowing just 10 points per game on the young season.
Meanwhile, Texas A&M’s offense has struggled to gain traction. The Aggies scored just 14 points at home against the Mountaineers last weekend.
