ESPN’s FPI has updated its projection for Miami’s Pinstripe Bowl matchup vs. Rutgers on Thursday.

The Hurricanes will be looking to build some momentum going into next season in this bowl game matchup. Miami won its regular season finale over Boston College, but lost each of its three games before that contest.

Rutgers enters this game with a 6-6 record. The Scarlet Knights have lost three games in a row as they prepare to face Miami in the Pinstripe Bowl.

FPI is giving Miami the edge in this game. The model projects Miami has a 66.5% chance to win on Thursday.

Miami is expected to start Jacurri Brown at quarterback against the Scarlet Knights. Brown did not play this season as he took a redshirt year, but did earn some playing time as a true freshman in 2022. Tyler Van Dyke (transfer) and Emory Williams (injury) are not available in this game.

Kickoff is set for 2:15 p.m. ET on Thursday afternoon.
