ESPN's Rece Davis makes prediction in Miami-Texas A&M matchup
Miami is preparing to take on Texas A&M in a pivotal top 25 matchup on Saturday night.
ESPN’s Rece Davis made his prediction for the game on the College GameDay podcast this week. He’s taking Miami and the points against the Aggies.
“I’m not on the bandwagon of Miami being “back,” Davis said. “But I am on the bandwagon, in modern day college football, if you’ve got a dude at quarterback, even on the road, you take him. So I’m going to go with Tyler Van Dyke and I’ll take the points and I’ll take the Canes.”
Miami is a 6-point underdog against Texas A&M on Saturday. The Canes are hoping to improve to 3-0 on the season with a win.
Texas A&M is reportedly going to make a change at quarterback in this game. LSU transfer Max Johnson is expected to get the start over Haynes King.
Miami will reportedly be without top receiver Xavier Restrepo for this contest as he deals with a foot injury. So far this season, Restrepo is Miami’s only receiver to clear 80+ yards through the air.
