ESPN’s SP+ predicts final score in Miami-Pittsburgh matchup

Miami and Pittsburgh will face off in the final game of the regular season for both teams.

Pittsburgh comes into the game as the favorite over Miami. The Panthers have compiled 3 wins in a row heading into this Week 13 matchup and will look to end the regular season on a 4-game winning streak. For Miami, a win could revive an underwhelming season.

ESPN’s SP+ believed that Pitt will tack on another win to that winning streak. SP+ is predicting a Pitt win by the score of 30-25 against Miami on the road.

In Week 12, Pitt survived a close game against Duke with a 28-26 win. Pittsburgh quarterback Kedon Slovis passed for 1 touchdown, 2 interceptions, and 190 passing yards. Running back Israel Abanikanda rushed for 113 yards and 1 touchdown.

Miami was not as fortunate as Pittsburgh was in Week 12. M

iami suffered a 40-10 loss to Clemson on the road. Miami was limited 98 yards of total offense against Clemson’s defense.

With a 5-6 record heading into the final game, Miami needs a win to become bowl eligible. Miami will be looking to play in its 1st bowl game since the 2020 season. In the series between Miami and Pitt, Miami currently has a 4-game winning streak over the Panthers.

Kickoff will take place on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET.
