Jaden Rashada’s recruitment is officially over.

The former Miami and Florida commit will sign with Arizona State on Wednesday, he announced. Rashada called it a “life-long dream” to play for the Arizona State, which is his father’s alma mater.

Here’s Rashada’s announcement:

His father, Harlen Rashada, played defensive back for the Sun Devils in the 1990’s.

Rashada originally committed to Miami over Florida in June of 2022. However, in November, he flipped his pledge to the Gators after agreeing to a lucrative NIL deal. He signed with Florida during the Early Signing Period, but later requested his release from his national letter of intent after the NIL deal reportedly fell through.

Florida granted his release earlier this month, paving the way for Rashada to officially join Arizona State.

Rashada ends the cycle as the No. 82 overall player in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 7 quarterback in the nation.
