Kamren Kinchens has played his last game in a Miami uniform, declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft on Saturday.

Kinchens was 3rd on Miami this season with 59 total tackles. He also recorded 2.5 tackles for loss, 1 sack, and led the team with 5 interceptions. Kinchens played in 34 games over the last 3 seasons with the Hurricanes.

The Miami defensive back stated that he won’t be playing in the Pinstripe Bowl. Here’s what he had to say to Miami fans about his decision:

“The first thing that I’d like to do is say thank you to the man above. Nothing is possible without Him. Thank you to all the Canes fans out there that had nothing but love for the U,” said Kinchens. “Thank you for embracing and supporting me. My main goal when coming to the University of Miami was to give everything I had to it. I believe that, without a doubt, I did that. With that being said, I will be forgoing the bowl game and my senior season and declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft.”

The Hurricanes will face Rutgers in their bowl game without Kinchens. Miami looks to move to 12-0 all-time against Rutgers with a win.

Kickoff from Yankee Stadium will be on Dec. 28 at 2:15 p.m. ET on ESPN/ESPN+.
