Kevin Beard announced as Miami's new wide receivers coach
Kevin Beard is officially back on staff at Miami. The Hurricanes announced Beard as the new wide receivers coach on Monday.
Beard’s return to his alma mater was reported last week. Over the weekend, he was observed working with UM wideouts during practice.

Beard, a Miami standout receiver from 2001-03, has been on staff before. He was UM’s Assistant Director of Football Operations in 2014 and moved up to wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator for the 2015 season.
Beard is back in Miami after 5 seasons at Toledo. He was Toledo’s director of player personnel and assistant recruiting coordinator in 2018 and coached wide receivers the past 4 seasons.
During the 2016 and ’17 seasons, Beard was on staff at Georgia and Tennessee. He was an offensive quality control coach at UGA and UT’s wide receivers coach.
One of the most prolific wideouts in program history, an elite recruiter and a tremendous football coach is back at his alma mater.
