Leonard Taylor III has reportedly made a decision for the 2024 season.

The sophomore defensive tackle is heading to the NFL Draft. According to the Sun Sentinel’s Adam Lichtenstein, Taylor has signed with Lil Wayne’s sports agency, Young Money APAA Sports, and will go declare for the NFL Draft.

Taylor, a Miami native and former No. 4 defensive line in the Class of 2021, has had a productive college career, recording 64 tackles, 22.5 tackles for loss and 6 sacks in his three seasons. He also had one interceptions during his career. This season, he notched 20 tackles and a sack.

He played all 12 games of his sophomore season and played 10 games this year, missing two games with injuries. He earned a 75.1 defensive grade from PFF and a 82 pass-rush grade.

At 6-foot-3, 305 pounds, Leonard certainly has the frame of an NFL defensive tackle. According to ESPN NFL Draft analyst Mel Kiper, Taylor is the No. 3 defensive tackle in this year’s draft.
