Miami will be down two players as it prepares to face Florida State this week.

The Hurricanes are losing safety Gurvan Hall Jr. and linebacker Bradley Jennings Jr., Diaz announced on Monday. Both players are expected to officially enter the transfer portal in the coming days.

Hall is a junior who has played for the Hurricanes in recent years. He made three starts and appeared in all 11 games in 2020. However, he was a primarily a backup this season and did not dress in Miami’s 33-30 win over Georgia Tech in Week 10.

Jennings is also a junior and had even more experience in Miami’s defense. He started all 11 games a year ago, but like Hall, had seen his role be reduced this season. He’s made just 14 tackles in 7 games this season.

Miami has been on a hot streak in recent weeks, winning three straight games. The Hurricanes are still alive in the ACC Coastal and have a chance to make the conference championship game.

Miami faces Florida State this week. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
