Mario Cristobal issues injury updates for Jaylan Knighton, Leonard Taylor
Miami coach Mario Cristobal issued an injury update for a pair of key players on Saturday evening.
Cristobal said running back Jaylan Knighton sat out this game as a “precaution” as he deals with a soft tissue injury. Miami is being careful with its running back depth as TreVonté Citizen and Donald Chaney Jr. are both dealing with longterm injuries.
Miami defensive lineman Leonard Taylor exited this game in the second half with an apparent injury. Cristobal said he has a “stinger” and it’s not a concern moving forward.
Jaylan Knighton was held out for precautionary reasons, and Leonard Taylor had a stinger and should be good to go going forward.
