Miami adds commitment from highly-recruited LB in class of 2023

Miami picked up a commitment from 3-star linebacker Marcellius Pulliam on Saturday evening.

Pulliam also had offers from programs like Auburn, Mississippi State and Louisville.

Pulliam is a big addition to Miami’s 2023 recruiting class. He’s the No. 63 linebacker in the country, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

He’s listed at 6-foot-3, 215 pounds. Pulliam attends Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone, Georgia.

The Hurricanes are now up to 21 commitments in the class of 2023. The group ranks No. 8 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. That’s good enough for the top class in the ACC.

Miami is looking to take a big recruiting class this cycle as it is expected to undergo significant attrition through the transfer portal. As of Saturday night, 10 Miami players have already announced their intentions to enter the portal.
