Miami football dipped into the transfer portal Sunday to add a familiar face to some around the Hurricanes football program.
Lou Cristobal, the nephew of head coach Mario Cristobal and a former Georgia State offensive lineman, announced Sunday afternoon that he will be heading to Miami for his 5th season in college football.
Cristobal is a stronger pass blocker than he is in run block, according to PFF. He graded out with a 79 in pass blocking at Georgia State last season. The 6-foot, 274 pound redshirt senior totaled 367 reps in 2022.
Cristobal is Miami’s 3rd offensive line transfer addition of the offseason, joining former Alabama LG Javion Cohen and former UCF center Matt Lee
