Miami basketball downs Virginia Tech, extends win streak to 7
Miami basketball is not getting the national respect it deserves.
The Hurricanes, after downing Virginia Tech Tuesday night by a score of 76-70, has improved its win streak to 7 and now sits atop the ACC conference standings at 14-4. And they’re not beating scrubs either; the Hurricanes have downed Duke and North Carolina, also beating Clemson on the road.

Miami’s guard tandem of Nijel Pack and Isaiah Wong was incredible once again, combining for 29 points. When those 2 are on fire, it’s hard to imagine any defense keeping up. Norchad Omier was incredible as well, adding a team-high 16 points with 14 rebounds and 3 steals.
The Hurricanes are looking as dangerous as any team in the country right now. Making it back to the Elite 8 seems more than in the picture with just 2 regular season games remaining.
