Bethea is a huge addition for the Canes. He’s the No. 9 overall player and the No. 2 shooting guard in the country for the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

He attends Archbishop Wood High School in Warminster, Pennsylvania. He’s listed at 6-foot-4, 170 pounds and is known for his scoring prowess at the prep level.

Miami winning this recruiting speaks volumes to its progress as a program. Earlier this year, Miami advanced to the Final Four for the first time in team history.

Miami now has 3 commitments in the class of 2024. The Hurricanes have also earned a pledge from top-50 guard Austin Swartz. The class is ranked No. 3 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
