Miami outlasted Boston College with a buzzer-beater at the end of overtime on Thursday evening.

Boston College had a chance to take the last shot of the first overtime period, but gave the ball up too early. Jordan Miller hit a layup in transition as time expired to give the Canes the win. Here’s the play:

Miller finished the game with 11 points and 3 rebounds.

Miami will now face Duke in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals on Friday. Miami beat the Blue Devils in Durham back in January.

The Hurricanes were led by Kameron McGusty, who scored 16 points. All four of Miami’s guards scored in double figures and center Sam Waardenburg finished with 9 points and 7 rebounds.

Miami is now in even better shape to make the NCAA Tournament. The Hurricanes have been on the bubble for the last few weeks, but now have a 23-9 record and could end up playing for the ACC title.

Duke and Miami tip off at 7:00 p.m. ET on Friday.
