Miami picked up one of the best interior offensive linemen in the country on Friday afternoon.
The Canes earned a commitment from 3-star lineman Connor Lew. He chose the Canes over offers from programs like Georgia, Auburn and Clemson. He visited all 3 of those programs in June.
Here’s his announcement:
Lew is the No. 36 interior offensive lineman in the country, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. However, it’s possible his ranking will improve as he’s re-evaluated by the major scouting services this fall. He’s expected to play center at the next level.
He’s a Georgia native, which makes it even more impressive the Canes were able to beat out the Bulldogs in his recruitment. Miami now has 5 offensive linemen committed in this class.
Miami’s 2023 class is up to 17 commitments overall. The group ranks No. 7 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings
. Miami is now ahead of Clemson in the national rankings.
