Miami picked up its 20th win of the season on Tuesday night in a dominant performance at Pittsburgh.

The Canes won 85-64, handing the Panthers their second-straight loss. Miami is now 20-8 on the season and has won four of its last five contests.

Kameron McGusty and Charlie Moore each scored 19 points in the win. The pair also combined for 9 assists and 4 steals.

As a team, Miami shot 55.2 percent from the floor and 45 percent from three-point range. This was Miami’s first time to score 85+ points in a game since defeating North Carolina back in January 18.

Miami also scored a whopping 30 points off of 20 Pitt turnovers.

The Hurricanes are in a good spot to make the NCAA Tournament. They were one of Joe Lunardi’s final four teams to make the Field of 64 entering Tuesday, and this result should improve their standing. Miami has 9 wins vs. Quad 1 and Quad 2 opponents this season.

Miami has three games remaining on its regular season schedule. It will play Virginia Tech in its home finale on Saturday.
