Miami added another commitment to its 2023 recruiting class of Friday night.

The Canes earned a commitment from 3-star defensive back Kaleb Spencer. He was previously committed to Oklahoma, but instead will sign with Miami.

Here’s Spencer’s announcement:

Spencer is the No. 692 player in the country, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He attends Life Christian Academy in Colonial Heights, Virginia.

He becomes the third defensive back to join Miami’s 2023 recruiting class this week. The Canes also picked up a commitment from 5-star Cormani McClain on Thursday night. Additionally, 4-star DB Antione Jackson re-classified into the class of 2023. He was previously committed to Miami.

Miami now has 19 commitments in the class of 2023. The group ranks No. 8 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings. Spencer is the first prospect from Virginia to join this class. 13 of the 19 commitments hail from the Sunshine State.
