Miami is preparing to host seven high-priority recruiting targets this weekend, according to a report.

That’s per The Athletic’s Manny Navarro, who notes that National Signing Day (Feb. 2) is now less than a week away. This is Miami’s last chance to improve its 2022 recruiting class, which suffered for most of this cycle due to the uncertainty around former coach Manny Diaz.

Here are the recruits who are expected to be on campus this weekend, per Navarro’s report:

Miami isn’t necessarily favored to land any of these prospects on National Signing Day, with the exception of Cooper. However, with the Canes getting the last word before Feb. 2, it’s possible Mario Cristobal and his staff could pull off a major close to this cycle.

The Hurricanes’ class currently ranks No. 38 nationally and No. 5 in the ACC, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. That’s mostly due to a quantity rather than quality — Miami has just 10 commitments so far in this class.

If Miami can add more quantity in the coming days, this class could quickly rise into the upper echelon of the ACC rankings.
