Miami is a slight favorite in must-win game at Pittsburgh
Miami is a 3.5-point favorite tonight as it travels to face a surging Pittsburgh team, according to odds from DraftKings.
This is a must-win game for the Hurricanes, who remain on the NCAA Tournament bubble following their loss to Virginia on Saturday.
Miami is currently projected to be one of the last four teams in the Field of 64, according to ESPN’s Joe Lunardi. ESPN’s projection has Miami as a No. 10-seed playing against No. 7-seeded Iowa in the first round.
However, the Canes will need to take care of business down the stretch to avoid falling behind in the race for an NCAA Tournament berth. They’ve lost three of their last seven games — including two to Virginia.
Meanwhile, Pitt has been playing much better basketball lately. The Panthers beat North Carolina in Chapel Hill last week and had won three in a row before losing to Georgia Tech on Saturday.
Miami is 19-8 overall and 11-7 in ACC play this season. Tipoff vs. Pitt is at 8:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday night.
