Miami is hosting 4-star defensive back Conrad Hussey on a recruiting visit this weekend, according to multiple reports.

Hussey, who is currently committed to Penn State, has also visited Florida State in December. He’s one of Miami’s top remaining targets in the 2023 recruiting class.

If Miami is able to lure Hussey away from the Nittany Lions, he would be a huge addition for Miami’s future. Hussey is the No. 250 overall player in the class of 2023, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

Miami does have a big proximity advantage over Penn State in this recruitment. Hussey attends St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. It’s possible he’s looking to stay closer to home rather than move up to Penn State for his collegiate career.

Miami’s 2023 recruiting class has developed into one of the best in the nation. The Canes’ class now ranks No. 4 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings. That’s good enough for the top class in the ACC. Miami moved up several spots after adding a commitment from 5-star offensive lineman Samson Okunlola this week.

Miami currently has commitments from three defensive backs in this class: 5-star cornerback Cormani McClain, 4-star cornerback Robert Stafford and 4-star safety Antione Jackson.

Here are some highlights from Hussey’s senior season at St. Thomas Aquinas:
