Miami lands commitment from 4-star WR out of Georgia
It has been a tough past 24 hours for Miami football fans after Saturday night’s absolutely brutal loss to Georgia Tech.
However, the Hurricanes did get some good news on Sunday night, as a top prospect in high school announced he would be attending Miami. The commitment from Ny Carr, a 4-star wide receiver, should help the fans find some solace after the loss to Georgia Tech.

Carr is the No. 53 overall player and the No. 11 receiver in the country for the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 9 player from the state of Georgia.
Carr chose Miami over teams like Florida State, Florida, Auburn and Tennessee. He was previously committed to Georgia over a year before backing off of that pledge last month.
Miami now has 23 commits in the class of 2023. The group sits at No. 11 in the country, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
