Miami made a big addition to its 2023 recruiting class on Wednesday.

The Hurricanes picked up a commitment from 3-star receiver Andy Jean. He attends Northwestern High School in Miami.

Here’s Jean’s announcement:

Jean is the No. 53 receiver in the country for the class of 2023, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also ranked as the No. 71 player in the state of Florida.

He chose Miami over offers from programs like Georgia, Florida State and Cincinnati. He also received offers from Michigan and South Carolina earlier this month.

His commitment comes as Miami is hosting several high-priority targets in the class of 2022. The Hurricanes were expected to have at least seven targets on campus this weekend, including multiple 5-star prospects.

Jean is Miami’s second commitment in the class of 2023. He joins 3-star receiver Lamar Seymore, who has been committed to the Canes since April of 2020. Miami’s 2023 class currently ranks No. 4 in the ACC, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
