Miami lands huge transfer commitment from pass rusher Mitchell Agude
Miami picked up one of the biggest transfer portal additions of the offseason so far by adding UCLA pass rusher Mitchell Agude on Friday.
Agude named Miami as a finalist alongside Oregon, Tennessee and Washington last month. In the end, the Hurricanes won out. Here’s his announcement:

Agude is an ex-JUCO star who was a 3-star prospect in the class of 2020, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He was the No. 2 JUCO player in the nation for that cycle.
He spent the last two seasons at UCLA. Agude has 14.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks in his career. He also has 6 career forced fumbles.
This is the first major transfer commitment for new Miami co-defensive coordinators Kevin Steele and Charlie Strong. The Hurricanes are looking to quickly overhaul their defense, which struggled mightily at times last season.
Miami’s spring game is on April 16.
