Hill is an elite prospect in the class of 2023. He’s the No. 1 overall linebacker and the No. 9 overall player, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
He also has offers from programs like Oregon, Clemson and Ole Miss. He’s one of the most sought-after defensive players in the country for this cycle.
Hill attends Ryan High School in Denton, Texas. He’s listed at 6-foot-2, 225 pounds.
Hill has already made visits to more regional programs like Oklahoma and Texas A&M. It seems likely he could end up taking an official visit to Miami.
The Hurricanes will be looking to make a big splash in the 2023 recruiting class, which will be the first full cycle for new head coach Mario Cristobal. Miami already has two commitments in the class of 2023, but none are on the defensive side of the ball.
There is no timetable for Hill’s announcement.
