Miami lands No. 10-seed in NCAA Tournament, will face USC in 1st round
Despite slipping onto the bubble in the final days of the season, Miami earned the No. 10 seed for the NCAA Tournament on Sunday.
The Hurricanes’ status was never in serious doubt, but they did celebrate after their seeding was official:

Miami will play No. 7-seeded USC in the first round on Friday. KenPom is projecting a 73-72 win for the Trojans — a prediction that leaves plenty of room for the Hurricanes to take control.
Miami is 0-2 all-time against USC, but the two programs haven’t met since 1992. They played a home-and-home in the early 1990s, with the Trojans winning both matchups by 20+ points.
If the Canes can get past USC, they would almost certainly face Auburn in the Round of 32. The Tigers have been one of the best teams in the country at times this season, but have looked vulnerable in recent weeks. Miami is 1-1 all-time against the Tigers.
Tipoff is at 3:10 ET on Friday.
