Miami cornerback Khamauri Rogers is entering the transfer portal, according to a report.

That news was first shared by 247Sports’ Gaby Urrutia on Tuesday afternoon. Rogers spent just one season in Coral Gables.

It’s a potentially significant loss for the Hurricanes, who will be tasked with replacing both of their primary cornerback options this season. Both Tyrique Stevenson and DJ Ivey have chosen to enter the 2023 NFL Draft.

Rogers was one of Miami’s top-ranked recruits in the class of 2022. He was the No. 118 overall player and the No. 15 cornerback in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

He played in Miami’s season-opening win over Bethune Cookman, registering one tackle. However, that was Rogers’ only statistic for the 2022 season.

Rogers initially chose Miami over Ole Miss. He’s a Mississippi native, so it’s possible he is leaving the program to head back closer to home.

He becomes the 16th Miami player to enter the transfer portal so far this offseason.
