Miami made history with its blowout win over Florida State
Miami’s defeated Florida State 86-63 on Tuesday night in Tallahassee.
It was a historic loss for the Noles. Miami has now handed FSU 2 of its last 3 conference losses by 23+ points. According to Miami, that is also FSU’s largest home loss to an ACC opponent since 2005:

The 2004-05 season was Leonard Hamilton’s 3rd year at the helm. FSU lost to Duke by 32 points on Jan. 22, 2005.
On Tuesday night, Miami’s efforts were led by Isaiah Wong and Nijel Pack, who scored 18 points each. Overall, 5 different Miami players scored in double figures in the win.
Miami is continuing to have an impressive season. The Canes are 16-4 overall and were ranked No. 20 in the most recent AP Top 25 poll. Miami is building a strong NCAA Tournament résumé and is on track to earn an at-large berth.
Miami will be in action again on Saturday vs. Pittsburgh.
