Miami is in the race for 2023 4-star tight end Riley Williams.

The Hurricanes are one of his 4 remaining teams, he told’s Andrew Nemec this week. He’s also still considering Alabama, Oregon and Ohio State.

According to Nemec’s report, Williams will be in Coral Gables the weekend of June 17.

This is a big race for the Hurricanes. Williams is the No. 2 tight end in the country for the class of 2023, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 66 overall player in the class.┬áHe’s listed at 6-foot-6, 230 pounds.

Miami is gearing up for several major visits in the month of June. 5-star defensive lineman David Hicks Jr. is amongst the elite prospects who are expected to visit Coral Gables in June.

Williams is originally from Oregon, so perhaps Mario Cristobal’s ties to the Beaver State will help in this recruitment. He attends Central Catholic High School in Portland.

Miami’s 2023 class currently has 5 commitments and ranks No. 43 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
