Gibson is the No. 1 running back and the No. 8 overall player in the country for his cycle, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
Miami only has 2 commitments so far in the class of 2024, the Canes are doing a good job of making in-roads in this class. Miami is one of the favorites to land 5-star EDGE TJ Capers.
Gibson attends IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. He’s listed at 5-foot-10, 200 pounds.
Gibson took an unofficial visit to Miami over the summer. The Canes will surely be looking to bring him back for an official sometime in 2023.
