Miami moved up 2 spots in CBS Sports’ updated power rankings for Week 3.

The Hurricanes are now No. 13 in the CBS Sports 131, making them the second-highest ranked ACC team in the poll. Only Clemson is ranked higher amongst ACC programs. Miami began the year at No. 19, per the CBS Sports 131.

Miami’s opponent for this weekend, Texas A&M, slipped to No. 33 in these rankings. The Aggies fell 26 spots after their stunning home loss to App State in Week 2.

Miami is 2-0 after picking up wins over Bethune-Cookman and Southern Miss in the first 2 weeks. The Canes’ defense has been excellent so far, limiting opponents to just 10 points per game.

Miami should have an edge on that side of the ball in College Station this weekend. The Aggies’ offense struggled mightily against the Mountaineers, especially in the passing game. Quarterback Haynes King threw for just 97 yards in the loss.

Kickoff is at 9:00 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
