Miami offers Oregon transfer, former top-100 recruit

Miami has offered a scholarship to Oregon transfer offensive lineman Bram Walden.

Walden announced the new offer on Monday afternoon:

Walden hasn’t played much at O

regon, but he has ties to Miami’s current coaching staff. He was recruited to Eugene by Canes head coach Mario Cristobal and offensive line coach Alex Mirabal.

Walden also has a lot of pedigree as a prospect. He was the No. 85 overall player in the country for the class of 2021, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He w

as also the No. 10 offensive tackle in that class.

He just finished his redshirt freshman season at Oregon. He’s listed at 6-foot-3, 304 pounds.

Miami is expected to be aggressive in adding players via the transfer portal this offseason. The Canes have already had more than 10 players announce their intentions to leave the program via the portal.
