Miami is a double-digit favorite against Duke this weekend.

The Canes are 10-point favorites at home vs. the Blue Devils, according to the opening line from Circa Sports. The total has been set at 56.5 points.

That’s a lot of respect for a Miami team that is coming off of a 20-14 win over Virginia Tech in Blacksburg over the weekend. The Canes dominated for most of the game, but allowed the Hokies back into it late in the 4th quarter.

Prior to its win over Virginia Tech, Miami had dropped 3 straight contests to Texas A&M, Middle Tennessee and North Carolina.

Miami’s offense appears to be back on track after a slow start to the year. Tyler Van Dyke threw for 351 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Hokies. Receiver Colbie Young had the best game of his Miami career, surpassing the 100-yard mark and hauling in a highlight-reel touchdown in the first half.

Duke is coming off of back-to-back crushing losses. The Blue Devils fell 38-35 to North Carolina over the weekend. The week before, they lost in overtime on the road at Virginia Tech.

Kickoff on Saturday is at 12:30 p.m. ET.
