Miami was led by its starting lineup. All four guards — Kameron McGusty, Isaiah Wong, Jordan Miller and Charlie Moore — scored in double figures. Wong and Moore had a team-high 15 points.
The Canes are now in a great spot for an NCAA Tournament berth, barring any unexpected losses down the stretch. They were already off of Joe Lunardi’s bubble and into the Field of 64 prior to tonight’s results.
Miami already has four Quad 1 victories this season, which is second in the ACC behind only Duke (5). The Hurricanes also have five Quad 2 wins.
Miami also has a relatively easy schedule remaining. According to KenPom, the Canes are projected to win four of their final five matchups.
The Canes face Virginia at home on Saturday.
